Developing spiritual boldness is not an outward process. It is an inside work that must occur in every believer.
It is not a thing you wish upon yourself but a deliberate intention to become emboldened by the spirit of God to help you live a fulfilled life of consistent breakthroughs in this life.
Confidence in God and His Word gives us boldness to win in life and fulfill his mandate upon our lives. Acts 28:31 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:
Preaching to them the kingdom of God and teaching them about the Lord Jesus Christ with boldness and quite openly, and without being molested or hindered.
Do you ask the question, if standing on the scriptures guarantees boldness, tenacity, and victory? Yes! It does! Where many would fail, a Christian who is continually applying the Word of God will succeed.
A person with spiritual boldness doesn’t dwell on negative thinking. As you grow stronger in the word, you will be enhanced and develop a positive mental discipline, in doing this, you are breaking negative thought patterns and excessing dominion by the power found in God’s Word.
Meditate on Philippians 4:8-9 in the Message Bible
“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.”
Your inward disposition determines your outward outlook. Choosing to put a facade of strength and being weak in your spirit is a ticking bomb. That is why you must be continually grounded in God’s Word. In the face of adversities and challenges of this world, we cannot let what’s happening around us affect what’s living in us.
Read that once more to make sure you get it in your spirit.
What does the Word of God say about the outlook?
Colossians 3:1 in the Message Bible says:
[He Is Your Life ] So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.
Be bold in God’s Word. . .even in the midst of darkness and adversity.
The last part of Daniel 11:32 says:
… but the people who do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Say this loudly to yourself right now I am BOLD! I know my GOD and I shall do EXPLOIT!
Are you currently in a place in your life, where you have been bruised occasionally, where the devil has sold you lies about your identity in Christ or you have begun to cower and lose your strength? It is not the time to blame yourself, it is time to embrace the truth of God’s word on who Christ has made you be and how bold you are, IN HIM.
